Hi! My name is Caitlin and I am 31 years old and have been nannying/babysitting for 12 years now whilst I complete my studies (two degrees later!). I am currently in my final year of my second degree, Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition), whilst helping out a beautiful family with their 13 month old boy two days per week. I actually don’t think there’s a better job then spending the day with the little ones I care for, whilst I complete the practical element of my course which requires me to attend college once per week. I’m a professional nanny and I’ve been looking after kids of all ages for 10 years (started when I was 19). I Believe in providing acknowledgement and validation for their feelings and experiences but also appropriate consequences when necessary and to place boundaries. I like to encourage kids to be independent, curious, get them thinking and learning, building self esteem and to instil strong values I’m a safe driver with a clean driving record. I’m confident driving big cars, I’m used to driving other peoples cars I’m organised (I’m not a fan of chaos!) and I like to plan things out like a routine for the day, including meals, sleep and activities. I study health science majoring in nutrition and exercise and like to apply what I study into my life and work I think it’s best to work with the parents as a team to make sure the kids are thriving.
