Meet Emma: A nanny and babysitter in Glen Alpine, NSW

Hi, I'm Emma!

I am looking to find a family to babysit/nanny for 2-3 times a week. I have experience taking care of my baby cousin from 6 months old to now 4 years old, and I volunteer in the kids ministry at my church, looking after children between 6 months and 5 years old. I have completed 'Child Studies' and 'Community and Family Studies' at Broughton Anglican College, graduating this year (2024).

I hold a Working with Children's Check and have my green P's. My approach to childcare emphasises safety, nurturing creativity, and ensuring that kids feel comfortable and supported. I enjoy engaging children in fun activities like arts and crafts, reading stories, and outdoor play.

Additionally, I’ve completed a VET course in a Cert II in Hospitality, with 75 hours of industry placement. I do not currently have a first-aid certificate, yet I have been taught the basics of first-aid and CPR and I will begin a 'Bachelor of Nursing' at the beginning of 2025
