Meet Amy: A nanny and babysitter in Footscray, VIC

I am a kind, caring and calm person who has a range of childcare experience.

I have previously worked full time as a nanny for a lovely family where I developed a strong, trusting and mutual relationship while caring for their 14 month (+) child. Prior to that, I worked full time in a nursery/kindy with children ranging in age from five months to five years and have also worked for a reputable childcare agency providing regular, ongoing and casual childcare to families and nurseries for around five years.

I am very active and enjoy a range of sports and activities, spending time exploring the outdoors - spending time at both the countryside and the beach - but also value the importance of quiet time, enjoying reading, crafts and a range of different activities.

I have experience with newborns, children and teens, caring for multiples and children with additional support needs. I have previously completed Child Protection and Safeguarding training, am a certified PEEP practitioner (child and adult learning together programme), paediatric first aid trained and have a masters in Pscyhology with modules in child development. I feel strongly about providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and play.
