Meet Aoife: A nanny and babysitter in Randwick, NSW

Hi Mum's and Dad's! My name is Aoife, an Irish dedicated and caring childminder with many years of experience looking after children aged 6 months to 11 years old. Growing up in a large family with four sisters and two brothers, I naturally developed a passion for childcare. As the older sibling to a now 11 and 13 year old, I spent my summers from the age of 16 minding them, along with two other children. During the summers, I provided full-day care while parents worked, ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment. My daily routine included getting children ready, preparing meals, and organising fun, educational activities like arts and crafts, baking, Lego, and trips to the park. I love fostering a safe, stimulating space where children can explore, learn, and express themselves. Additionally, my passion for childcare stems from being minded by an Australian Au Pair, Louisa, whose warmth and care had a profound impact on me. She inspired me to provide the same supportive experience for the children I look after. I am gentle, patient, and attentive, prioritising each child's well-being, routine, and confidence. I build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, ensuring open communication and peace of mind. My goal is to create lasting, positive memories, just as Louisa did for me.
